Another year, another apalling combination of greed and lack of imagination...

• Ducati Monster S4 -or- Triumph Speed Triple. Come on, folks, I've been asking for a new bike for years!
• 128MB memory (PC133) for this server.
• a digital camera (small size is more important than high resolution)
• books!
• Inexpensive ubiquitous wireless internet access (still looks like it will be a few more years before I get this).
• last year I was hoping for one of the monster catamarans that were competing in The Race, but I didn't get one, so this year I'm setting my sights a little lower.
