Tory asked the other day if I could teach her how to solder, so I being the nerd Dad that I am I got a couple of kits from Evil Mad Science Labs for the kids to assemble.

The kits are great - inexpensive, very easy to assemble, and the cartoon directions are a lot of fun.

Uploaded by uploadtotwiki/2007-02-12 Katharine's kit needed a little debugging - one of the resistor leads was a little dry so one of the LED's didn't light up. Easy to fix and then it worked great!
