I'm running late this year so maybe I shouldn't expect to get any of the big gifts but here goes...

   * <strike>A new pair of work boots, size 11.  The timberlands that I got in college are done.</strike>

Since I haven't received either one yet maybe I'm asking too much.    * <strike>books!</strike>
   * Inexpensive ubiquitous wireless internet access (_still_ looks like it will be a few more years before I get this).
   * last year I was hoping for one of the monster catamarans that were competing in The Race, but I didn't get one, so this year I'm setting my sights a little lower.
